It is agreed that the following terms set out the total agreement made between the parties and that no variation or modification of this contract shall be effective unless agreed upon by both parties in writing.
This contract shall not become effective until it is signed and the initial amount due has been paid by the Client(s). At the time the contract takes effect, Victor Fox shall reserve the date and time agreed upon, and not make any other reservations or accept any other clients for said date and time. For this reason, in the event that the Client(s) cancels the contract for any reason, all monies paid shall be retained by Victor Fox in order to offset loss of business.
The Client(s) shall notify Victor Fox of any changes to scheduling details in writing. The typical day consists of Bridal Prep to First Dance unless stated in writing otherwise.
The Client(s) may cancel this contract at any time by giving written notice to Victor Fox, but in doing so shall forfeit any monies paid. All cancellations must be in writing.
The Client(s) hereby allow(s) Victor Fox to display any video covered by this contract to generally promote his business in advertising, websites, social media, etc.
The due performance of this contract is subject to alteration or cancellation by either party owing to any cause beyond their control. Although all equipment is checked regularly and reasonable steps are taken to ensure backup equipment is available, Victor Fox will not be responsible for footage that is not produced due to technical failure.
In the unlikely event of the assigned cinematographer being unable to attend your wedding due to unforeseen circumstances, Victor Fox reserves the right to appoint another cinematographer to attend your wedding on his behalf and to undertake the wedding cinematography to a similar standard as Victor Fox.
In the unlikely event of total video/equipment failure or cancellation of this contract by either party or in any other circumstance the liability of one party to the other shall be limited to the total value of the contract. Neither party shall be liable for indirect or consequential loss.
The final video shall be delivered digitally within 10 weeks from the date of the filming.
When filming a wedding in an uncontrolled environment the Cinematographer is sometimes limited by venue restrictions or the layout of the venue. It is understood by the Client(s) that the Cinematographer will work to the best of their ability in each location and judge the best shots for each set of circumstances.
By agreeing to have Victor Fox film your wedding, you are allowing creative licence in shot composition, direction and editing of all the final films. Editing a wedding video is extremely time-intensive; a typical wedding video can take over 25 hours to edit. Even minor alterations can be very time consuming. For this reason Victor Fox only provides revisions at an additional cost.
